Hole-in-One Club

All DFWGA members are invited to join our Hole in One Club. To participate, members must pay $5.00 to the Hole in One Club. When a Hole in One is scored, that member must present her Hole in One scorecard to the DFWGA Treasurer. The scorecard (showing all golfers who witnessed the Hole in One) has to be signed, attested, dated and given to the Treasurer no later than 1 week after it was made.

Here are the guidelines:
1. Participation in the Hole in One Club is optional and is in addition to the annual DFWGA dues. This means the $95 DWGA dues and the $5 for the Hole in One Club must be paid before participation.
2. A player making a Hole in One must be a member in good standing with the DFWGA and a member of the Hole in One Club.
3. A complete 18-hole round must be played from the silver tees at Desert Falls with at least two other golfers. It can be any day of the week between November 1 and April 30. All rounds of either stroke play, match play or a scramble can be used for the Hole in One. However, it has to be a first shot to be counted. For example: In a three-person scramble where each golfer is hitting an extra ball on 6 holes, the extra shot does not count as a Hole in One. Also, using a mulligan is not acceptable for a Hole in One.
4. At the end of the season, the money collected for the Hole in One Club will be divided among the Hole in One Club members who had a Hole in One.
5. If a golfer has 2 Holes in One during the season, she will receive twice the single amount. For example: Let’s say our Hole in One Club has $350 in it and 3 people each have 1 Hole in One and 1 person had 2 Holes in One. Then the 3 people who had 1 Hole in One would each get $70 and the person who had 2 Holes in One would get $140 adding up to the total of $350.
6. At the end of the season, April 30th, if there is no Hole in One that fits the above criteria, then the money in the Hole in One Club gets moved to the following year. There are no REFUNDS.
7. Each year DFWGA members in good standing can join the DFWGA Hole in One Club again for $5.00. The next year will start with any money carried over from the previous year’s Hole in One Club dollars plus the $5.00 for the new year from each member. Each year we will either distribute the money divided by the number of Holes in One or, if no Holes in One that year, carry the money over to the next year.
8. You must join the Hole in One Club each year if you want to be in it; your $5 is only good for one year (November 1 to April 30th).

*To collect the pot, you must have made your Hole in One at DFCC and been playing with another MGA member who has witnessed your Hole in One.  Once the pot is paid out members need to pay another $5 to stay in the club.
